Fedora is a distribution of Linux based on Red Hat linux, developed by the Fedora Project. The latest version is Fedora 8, which was released on the 8th of November, 2007. Fedora is available in both GNOME and KDE for their desktop environment. One of the aims of the Fedora project is to contain only free and open source software.
