GeeXboX is a very compact operating system (about 140 MB) based on GNU / Linux and MPlayer. Integrates the latest version of XBMC 11 "Eden". And now you can watch and record live TV shows. Available as a Live CD, it makes it possible to transform virtually any computer into a true media center. This can be useful for those who want to use old computers in the media center or for those looking for free alternatives to Windows XP Media Center Edition.
